André Couillard

President, IRCM Foundation Board

Corporate Director

André Couillard was Vice-President, Executive Search & Recruitment Solutions at Optimum Talent, from 1998 to 2020. He worked as Associate and Associate Director for three national/international executive search firms, in Ottawa and in Montreal. His previous business experience includes executive positions in Operations and Human Resources for national and international corporations, including Sears Canada, Le Château Stores, Shirmax, Henry Birks and Sons Ltd., and Bell Canada.

Former President and member of the Board of Directors of the Regroupement des gens d’affaires de la Capitale nationale (Ottawa), he was/is a board member or member of the advisory committee for several organizations, including the Montreal Kidney Foundation, the Conseil québécois du commerce de détail, Le refuge des jeunes de Montréal, The Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation, and was a founding member of Destination Centre-ville (Montréal).

Mr. Couillard has been president of the IRCM Foundation’s Board of Directors since June 2013 (Board Member since 2009) and is a member of the Ad Hoc Recruitment Committee and of the Ad Hoc Major and Exceptional Donations Committee.

He has been a member of the IRCM Board of Directors since June 2013 and is a member of the IRCM Human Resources Committee.

Antoine Bégin

General Manager of Sales at TELUS Health Virtual Care

Antoine is passionate about innovation, health and business. His role as General Manager of Sales at TELUS Health Virtual Care allows him to live his passions on a daily basis. As part of the EQ Care team in telemedicine before joining the TELUS Health family, and previously in a genetic laboratory, he piloted multiple projects and strategic partnerships aimed at the adoption of various health innovations by the medical profession, insurers and plan sponsors. Antoine holds an MBA since 2010 and is a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2011.

                       

Serge A. Boileau

President of the IRCM Golf Tournament

Corporate Director

Serge A. Boileau has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke and a Master’s in Project Management from Montreal’s École Polytechnique. He devoted his professional activities to the field of civil engineering for over 13 years, transitioning from project engineer to regional director and associate at BBL Inc. In 1995, he joined the Centre for Expertise and Research on Infrastructures in Urban Areas (CERIU) where he held the position of Technology Advisor, and then that of Director of Business Development. Today, Mr. Boileau is President of the Commission des services électriques de Montréal. This organization is devoted to the management of the overhead and underground cable networks on the entire island of Montreal and is the technical integrator for underground deployment projects. Mr. Boileau is a Board Member of the CERIU.

He has been a member of the IRCM Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2005. He is also President of the IRCM Golf Tournament.

Martin Bourassa

Partner at Talsom

Martin Bourassa is a certified CPA-CMA, currently a Partner at Talsom, a management consulting firm. He has over 25 years of experience in a variety of fields such as finance, information technology, supply chain and logistics. His extensive expertise has enabled him to rise through the ranks and hold management positions where his leadership, strategic and communication skills are put to good use.  Mr. Bourassa easily rallies stakeholders, and is recognized for his management skills, which makes him capable of delivering projects in a variety of contexts, including the most complex. He is regularly solicited for his opinion or comments related to business transformation and the implementation of achievement plans.

Robert Dupont

President of the IRCM Ad Hoc Governance and Recruitment Committee

Partner, Fasken

Robert Dupont is Partner at Fasken law firm. He is a graduate of the Université de Montréal. Before arriving at Fasken in 2014, Mr. Dupont worked for Heenan Blaikie law firm and Canadair Limited (today Bombardier Aerospace Limited) in both the Human Resources and Labour Relations departments.

Robert Dupont taught jurisprudence in labour arbitration at the Université de Montréal, labour and administrative law at the professional training school of the Barreau du Québec, as well as employment law at McGill University. He is a member of the Barreau du Québec and the Canadian Bar Association. In 2011, 2012 and 2013, he was recognized as one of Canada’s leading lawyers in the area of Labour and Employment Law by the Best Lawyers in Canada directory. Mr. Dupont is a member of the Board of Directors of Queen of Angels Academy, a private arts and science high school for young women located in Dorval, Montréal.

He has been a member of the IRCM Foundation’s Board of Directors since June 2013 and chairs the Ad Hoc Governance and Recruitment Committee.

Sonia Hernandez

ESG Partner at KPMG

Sonia Hernandez is a seasoned manager with more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry, having held various senior management positions in financial institutions for several years. Ms. Hernandez is currently an ESG Partner at KPMG. Recognized for her knowledge of complex organizations and her collaborative, results-oriented leadership, Ms. Hernandez also has a proven expertise in building and developing effective and multi-functional teams. Her background has given her an excellent understanding of the business environment whether at strategic, transformational and operational levels.

Renée Lefebvre

Senior Director - Financial Planning & Analysis

Renée Lefebvre is Senior Manager, Financial Planning at Pratt & Whitney Canada.  Ms. Lefebvre has 30 years of experience in the aerospace industry, where she has held several finance roles and leveraged her expertise as a CPA.  A leader with integrity, she knows how to mobilize teams to achieve objectives while incorporating process improvements.

Marie-Chantale Lortie

With a passion for partnerships, innovation and strategy, and guided by her influential leadership, Marie-Chantale Lortie, Director of Partnerships at the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), has over 20 years of experience in developing strategic alliances and innovation. Recognized as a high-level manager who works in the financial community, both at BDC and in the other positions in which she has been involved in the past, Marie-Chantale successfully leads a team that delivers beneficial results for her organization and its partners.

Ms. Lortie is also Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Association des MBA du Québec and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Microcrédit Montréal. She holds an MBA from HEC Montréal and a bachelor's degree in political science from Université Laval.

Richard Mayrand

Richard Mayrand, MBA, FCPA, FCGA, worked for the Jean Coutu Group from 1996 to 2019 as Senior Vice President, Pharmacy and Government Affairs. His mandate was to ensure the Jean Coutu network's leadership in pharmaceutical services. 
 
Mr. Mayrand is a member of the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec. He is also a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés and a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés. He has been awarded the title of Fellow by all three professional orders. He holds an MBA from McGill University.

He is an ASC graduate of the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés and has chaired the Board of Directors of the Association des bannières et des chaînes de pharmacies du Québec and served on the Board of Directors of the Société de soins palliatifs à domicile du Grand Montréal. Richard Mayrand has been teaching the human resources management module at the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Université de Montréal since 1996. In 2011, the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec honoured him with the prestigious Louis-Hébert Award, the Order's highest distinction in recognition of his contribution to the advancement of the pharmacy profession.

Louise Ann Maziak

President of the IRCM Foundation's Audit Committee

Louise Ann Maziak holds a Master’s degree in business administration from the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University, as well as a Master’s degree in bioorganic chemistry from the Faculty of Science at McGill University. For over 25 years, she has developed a strong background in financial services at the Royal Bank of Canada, the National Bank, the Société générale de financement du Québec and, today, the TD Bank. In addition, she gained knowledge in the field of biomedical research while working as a research associate at the IRCM in the 1980s. She is a Board member of Blue Metropolis and the Institut universitaire de gériatrie de Montréal.

She has been a member of the IRCM Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2015 ans. She is also a member of the Ad Hoc Major and Exceptional Donations Committee, member of the Ad Hoc Governance and Recruitment Committe, and President of the IRCM Foundation's Audit Committee.

Ginette Paquin

Chair of the Annual Dinner Committee

Marketing and Communications consultant, and Corporate Director

Ginette Paquin is a marketing and communications consultant and a corporate director. Until recently, and for more than five years, she was Vice President of Communications and Marketing at Professionals' Financial, a subsidiary of Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec, whose mandate is to provide private banking, investment and financial planning services.

Ginette Paquin, a senior executive with a solid background in marketing, communications, business development, health and finance, has worked for Laurentian Bank, Intact Insurance and belairdirect, as well as TELUS Québec and TELUS Solutions. As an inspiring leader, Ms. Paquin has been recognized for her ability to identify business challenges and the new roads companies need to take to expand and increase their market share. Throughout her career, her vision has inspired, generated and enhanced the growth of prestigious brands, implementing innovative and powerful solutions in highly competitive markets. In addition, her experience includes corporate and NPO governance.

Ms. Paquin has been a member of the IRCM Foundation Board of Directors since June 2017.

Josiane Parisien

Wealth Advisor, RBC Dominion Securities

Josiane Parisien is a wealth advisor with RBC Dominion Securities. She advises high net-worth families and business owners on achieving their financial goals and optimizing the transfer of their legacy to future generations. She has been working in wealth management and financial planning since 2011. With a bachelor's degree from Université de Montréal and two certificates from HEC Montréal, she has honed her expertise by obtaining a Financial Planner designation, a certificate in personal insurance and an investment broker license. Keen to contribute outside her profession, she has sat on various boards of directors since her university days.

                       

Maya Raic

President, IRCM Ad Hoc Major and Exceptional Donations Committee

Executive Director, Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec

Maya Raic holds a master's degree in political science and a master's degree in business administration (MBA). She is also a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec and has extensive expertise in non-profit organizations and government. She was President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chambre de l'assurance de dommages from 2004 to 2018. She has also worked in the public service as Chief of Staff and in the field of financial services and tourism. She is currently the Chairwoman of the Olympic Park Board of Directors.

She is also a member on the board of directors of Options consommateurs and the Syndicat des copropriétés 6100 Deacon as well as member of the Association des femmes en finances du Québec and the Association des femmes d'assurance de Montréal. In the past, she was member on the board of directors of the Collège des médecins du Québec and the Coalition pour la promotion des professions en assurance de dommages. She received the Mildred-Jones Award for the “Insurance Woman of the Year” in 2015.

Ms. Raic has been a member of the IRCM Foundation’s Board of Directors since November 2018. She is also President of the IRCM Ad Hoc Major and Exceptional Donations Committee and member of the IRCM Foundation's Ad Hoc Governance and Recruitment Committee.

Étienne Rivard

President and Chief Executive Officer, Infrastructel

Étienne Rivard (CPA, CMA) is President and Chief Executive Officer of Infrastructel, a consulting engineering firm. A charismatic leader, Mr. Rivard is a seasoned financial professional with solid experience in business development, strategic analysis and organizational development.

Guy Saint-Jacques

Consultant and Administrator

Guy Saint-Jacques created GS +J Consulting Group Inc. after retiring from the Canadian Public Service. He is currently a Fellow of the China Institute of the University of Alberta and the Institute of International Studies in Montreal. In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors of Xebec Adsorption Inc. and he is Honorary Chairman of the Canada-China Small Business Group and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Quebec Section of the Canada-China Business Council.

Previously, Mr. Saint-Jacques worked for the Department of External Affairs of Canada for nearly forty years, serving in Kinshasa, Hong Kong, Beijing, Washington, DC and London. He has served as Deputy High Commissioner at the Canadian High Commission in London, and later headed the consular affairs directorates for Francophone Africa and Science and Technology and the Associate Deputy Minister’s Office. He has been Deputy Director of the Energy and Environment Branch, Director of Assignments and Director General of Personnel Management. In addition, Mr. Saint-Jacques was the Government of Canada’s Chief Negotiator and Ambassador Climate Change as well as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada in the People’s Republic of China. He speaks Mandarin fluently.

Mr. Saint-Jacques is a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of the IRCM since April 2018.

Marie-Claude Soucy

Vice-President, Administrative Services
Autorité des marchés financiers

Marie-Claude Soucy has been with the Autorité des marchés financiers since 2015 as Vice President of Administrative Services. In her role, she oversees finance and administration, human resources, information technology, governance and project management, as well as internal communications. She has nearly 30 years of experience in the retail and parapublic sectors.

A graduate of HEC Paris, she also holds a bachelor's degree in administration from the Université de Sherbrooke. She is a member of the Ordre des CPA, holds the designations of CHRP, CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) and is also ASC certified by the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.

A committed leader, Ms. Soucy is a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Derivatives Institute, as well as a member of the Board of Directors of CIRANO (Centre interuniversitaire de recherche en analyse des organisations).In addition, she has been involved in recent years on the boards of directors of Protégez-vous, the ÉPIC Foundation and Capsana, a Quebec-based company dedicated to health promotion and chronic disease prevention.

In 2021, she received the Leadership Award from the Association of Québec Women in Finance, recognizing her influential leadership based on her human approach to inspiring, promoting and developing talent from all walks of life.

Ms. Soucy has been a member of the IRCM Board of Directors since November 2021.
