IRCM isn't waiting for February 11 to cultivate the place of women in science within its ranks, but as this Sunday the UN officially marks International Day of Women and Girls in Science, our institute wants to salute and recognize women's infinite contribution to knowledge and the advancement of knowledge.
The theme of the 2024 edition of this day, Women in scientific leadership: a new era for sustainability, is a reminder of how far we've come, but also of what remains to be done to make science a beacon for the inclusion and advancement of women, all in a context of urgent ecological action.
