A postdoctoral fellowship at the IRCM gives you the means you need to deepen your knowledge and put your expertise into practice.
It is a chance to develop to your full potential and publish your research in scientific journals. You get access to state-of-the-art facilities and the support and resources you need for your work and your professional practice. A fellowship is also an opportunity to develop your professional network and participate in stimulating scientific exchanges with renowned researchers who are always happy to share their knowledge and help you start your research career.
A postdoctoral fellowship provides an opportunity for PhDs who have received their degree within the past five years to develop their research expertise and become an independent researcher.
In Quebec, postdoctoral fellowships are regulated and require full-time university enrolment in accordance with provincial regulations established by the Ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Enseignement Supérieur (MEES). IRCM postdoctoral fellows may register at Université de Montréal or McGill University if the affiliation of the research director permits.
