Médication
Description
What happens to a person with type 1 diabetes? When we have type 1 diabetes, our body no longer secretes insulin. Since insulin is an essential hormone for maintaining normal blood sugar levels, it becomes essential to administer it ourselves, either by syringe, pen or pump. To be autonomous in adjusting our treatment, it's important to understand the action profile (i.e. how it works) of our insulins.
