The IRCM is a vibrant and lively place, rich in promising projects on many levels; and we are proud of your achievements. It is excellence that inspires us and pushes us ever further. I am convinced that this year will be marked by many major projects, outstanding achievements and successes that will live up to our ambitions.
We are fully aware of the economic challenges ahead, but I have a unshakeable trust in our collective ability to adapt, innovate and strengthen.
Our institute, as a research centre of excellence, has the necessary assets to consolidate its enviable position as a leader in biomedical innovation and precision medicine. We have the expertise, the passion and the clear vision to push back the frontiers of science and deliver solutions that will transform patients' lives. Every idea, every project and every collaboration contributes to shaping a better future for global health and that of our fellow citizens.
The past year has been marked by remarkable achievements at our institute, made possible by your commitment, expertise and dedication. These successes reflect not only our collective talent, but also the impact of a clear view of where we want to go. Today, we have the opportunity to build on a solid strategic plan, guided by an ambitious vision and deeply rooted values.
