Tarik Möröy, President and Scientific Director of the Montreal Clinical Research Institute, is pleased to announce that Gilbert Tordjman has been appointed as Vice President, Administration and Finance. He will join the Institute on November 19, 2018. He will be responsible for Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology as well as Engineering Services and Physical Plant.
A certified general accountant, Gilbert was until recently the Executive Director of Advancement Services at Concordia University’s Advancement and Alumni Relations. Prior to assuming this position, he was Vice President, Administrative Affairs at the Fonds de recherche du Québec – Santé. In addition, he served as Director, Finance and Administration at the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation and also Medical Research Financial Management Officer at the Lady Davis Institute of the Jewish General Hospital. He also worked as an accountant at Friedman & Friedman.
Committed volunteer, he is the immediate past Chair of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District I bound by the Northeastern United States and Eastern Canada. He is also a member of the Federation CJA Board of Directors, for which he received the Gertrude and Henry Plotnick Young Leadership Award in 2010.
