Research projects at the Integrative and Molecular Physiology Research Unit

Summary of responsibilities

The Integrative and Molecular Physiology Research Unit is looking for candidates interested by molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, physiology and energy metabolism.

The laboratory is studying the regulation of bone and energy metabolism by various organs and cell types and the endocrine interactions implicated in these processes. We are using biochemical and cellular and molecular biology approaches, and are taking advantage of conditional knockout mouse models to study signalling pathways in vivo.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in biochemistry or molecular biology (or equivalent)
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for the molecular biology or biochemistry programs at Université de Montréal, or the Experimental Medicine program at McGill University
  • Perseverance, passion for science and a desire to pursue a career in research
  • Laboratory experience and maintained an excellent grade point average

Candidates for a postdoctoral fellowship should have a PhD degree in biochemistry or molecular biology (or equivalent).
