About the Montreal RNA Club
RNA plays a central role in most cellular processes. Understanding the regulation and function of RNA is essential to uncover the molecular basis of many diseases. The Montreal RNA Club brings together a community of scientists working on various aspects of RNA biology (molecular, structural, evolutionary, biomedical and computational) from the four universities (McGill, UdeM, UQAM, Concordia), their affiliated research institutes and life science companies in the Montreal area.

Our mission is to forge links across Montreal's vibrant community of RNA researchers, share expertise, nurture synergy between laboratories and help disseminate the latest RNA research. We regularly organize seminars where students, postdoctoral fellows, research staff and laboratory directors present their unpublished work. This is followed by a 5@7 where scientists of all levels can meet and discuss. Through this forum, we aim to stimulate the exchange of ideas between laboratories, help launch innovative new projects and nurture a collaborative environment to strengthen RNA research in Montreal.

If you're interested to join or want more information, don't hesitate and contact us.

We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting!
