Chromatin and Genomic ExpressionWe are dedicated at understanding the molecular mechanisms behind transcription by RNA polymerase II, the enzyme responsible for the transcription of all protein-coding genes as well as several non-coding RNAs. We apply functional genomic and proteomic approaches to our favorite model organism, the budding yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
