When I learned that there was a field of research that used exercise therapeutically, well, the die was cast, my path was paved.

Type 1 Diabetes, sex and gender

Cutting-edge research focused on understanding the effects of physical activity on type 1 diabetes, as well as sex and gender differences associated with this disease. Study of the impact of the menstrual cycle or menopause on the ability to be physically active, and their effects on blood glucose levels.
