In science, communication and the exchange of information are crucial to advancing work which is usually carried out in the relatively closed world of the laboratory.
The recent joint retreat of the Université de Montréal Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) and the IRCM, held in the magnificent setting of the Auberge du lac Morency, proved an ideal opportunity for the participating researchers to update each other on their work and the most innovative trends in biomedical research.
Several members of the IRCM scientific staff presented papers on a variety of aspects of RNA therapeutic research, among others. Their colleagues from IRIC also had a wealth of new material to present.
Everyone left with new ideas and the increased motivation that always comes from friendly collaborations between scientists working on tomorrow's therapies.
