About Dr. Yardley’s work
Dr. Jane Yardley heads the Physical Activity and Diabetes Research Unit at the IRCM. Her fascinating studies include cutting-edge research focused on understanding the effects of physical activity on type 1 diabetes. She also studies sex and gender differences associated with this disease, including the impact of the menstrual cycle or menopause on the ability to be physically active, and their effects on blood glucose levels.
